Great first night at sea and a blissful sleep. Today was spent familiarising ourselves with the ship and also noticing how good the interior looked as well.
We spotted quite a few familiar faces and pretty much had a quiet day relaxing and feeling very lucky to be able to be on board.
In the evening we went to the Captain's Welcome Aboard Party & Champagne Waterfall. Captain Christopher Lye was also new onboard in Southampton and will be in charge for the duration of our cruise. He is extremely nice, has a great sense of humour and does like the microphone, all of these qualities are a bonus for us all.
We joined our dinner table of 8 with our old friends and were made feel very welcome…. they all know how to have a good time.
